cuts to the roster today. lindsay murphy with what is out? >> maureen, the red skins made their cuts by 6 p.m. this evening but didn't release the roster moves until 7:40 p.m. so after playing the waiting game here is how the roster became the final 53 roster. willy parker is a 17 year vet who had 20 yards in three pre- season games. parker didn't show enough quickness to make the team. the other big name cut terrance austin who let the offense with ten catches, 146 yards and one td in the pre-season. austin was a 7th round pick this year. he could make the practice squad which will be announced tomorrow. >>> the other notable cuts running-back ryan terrain. offensive lineman chad ryan hart. and the 7th rounder from this year and quarterback justin tryon was traded to the colts. the gives who stuck around are. well, maureen, we will see how this group looks a week from tomorrow against the cowboys. >> looking forward to it, lindsay. >> thanks, lindsay. >> the way you get around washington, d.c. might be seriously compromised this weekend. >> show you what's going on. not a good thing
at home. lindsay murphy has more from st. louis. >> reporter: it was a pretty quiet locker room. i don't think any redskins player expected this to be the outcome. but the skins defense were hit early and often. the redskins offense didn't play well enough to recover. >> i felt like we felt a good football team. i couldn't say more about how the rams came out and played. i knew all week it was going to be a big challenge for us. watching them on film they play extremely hard. they get knocked down and they keep coming back. and they are a very hard nosed as football team. >> a really good first quarter of the game they hit us in the mouth. we were in recovery mode already. and like i said they flatted whooped our (bleep) we got to come out and look at this film and see where it went wrong. check this out and get ready for next week. >> tour championship and atlanta jim furyk leads by a stroke over luke donald. last out of the bunker and almost gets it to drop. donald is going, man, if he misses that i've got a playoffs. but furyk that's a $10 million putt. made it. wins the tour champi

time meeting between the two teams, the skins holding a 2-0 advantage. lindsay murphy joins us with more on the game shaping up to be a family affair. >> there are so many ties within the two coaching staff that on sunday there will be a total of 10 coaches who were members of the same broncos staff back in 2002. so when you talk with players in the locker room, it seems they know what to expect because of some inside knowledge and that knowledge comes from skins offensive coordinator kyle shanahan who was on the texan staff for four years spending the last two as the team's offensive coordinator. he brought some of his texan styled offense to some of it in the lone star state. then you have mike shanahan and gary kubiak who also have an extremely close relationship. if you ask kubiak, mike shanahan has played a major role in his career. >> probably everything i know from a pro football standpoint as a football coach is from mike, not only played for him as a player, but he gave me my chance in san francisco to coach quarterbacks there, you know, and took me to denver to be his
